I’d forgotten about this. Me and my mate Marcus went down Ladbroke Grove when we were 13 to visit a nice rasta chap he knew and I bought Reggae Hits Volume 8 on tape and we went back to his house and got mashup and laughed ourselves silly to this tune.

Bigups to y mate Tom over at Elsham Music for sharing this iece of genius from a precocious little bugger by the name of Jacob Collier. I think we can probably expect big things from this young fellow in the coming years.

It’s been years since I heard and 4 Hero. Took me back to being 15 again. Lovely stuff here, and I’m double happy it’s the remix for one of my favourite singers of the moment, Mart’nalia. Discovered her through my mate Rodrigo Lampreia a few years ago in Rio and fell in love with her voice and her vibe. Really hope it gets her some international profile. She deserves it.
