Cover Up December with Mariana Magnavita and DJ Harry Love

A Christmas cracker to warm your cockles. We’ve got a Beautiful Brasilian Bossanova singer in Mariana Magnavita, we’ve got C-Boogie on the decks with latin, funk, reggae and hip hop party tunes, We’ve got the perennially popular Fontanas and their Brasilian/Bush Boogie and none other than Mr Harry Love to finish you off with his turntable wizardry.

Mariana Magnavita Left us slack jawed last time she graced the stage at Cover Up. Half Oxfordian folky niceness, half Bahian Bossa goodness, all delightful. Get here early and wrap your ears around this. Joined by Shannon Harris on piano and Nick Stokes on guitar. I pity the fool who misses Mariana.

DJ Harry Love – Like the bastard west London lovechild of Pete Rock and DJ Premier, founder of Extended Players, erstwhile member of the world-conquering Scratch Perverts, turntable prodigy and all-round good egg, Harry Love has maintained his place in the heart of every hip hop head by solidly doing what he does the best, produce the jazziest, smoothest, nicest, most delectable beats around and chop shit up like a teppanyaki chef on the decks.

The Fontanas have been making the dancefloor go crazy in Ginglik for the past 6 years, and they don’t look like getting knocked of their top spot yet by a long shot. Solid, heavy, floorshaking, brazilified goodness. Guaranteed dancefloor filers.

DJ C-Boogie will be playing real-life records and making you dance with your actual feet. Funk, Latin, reggae, boogie, hip hop, samba etc. etc. You love it.
